אהזהירנו ממכור מעשר בהמה על איזה פנים שיהיה. והוא אמרו יתעלה במעשר בהמה לא יגאל. ולשון ספרי במעשר בהמה נאמר לא יגאל אינו נמכר בין חי בין שחוט לא תמים ולא בעל מום. וכבר התבארו משפטי מצוה זו עם מצות שלפניה במסכת בכורות ובמעשר שני ובתמורה בתחלתו. (אם בחקותי, שם פ"ז):
