אהזהירנו מהקריב בעל מום עובר. והוא אמרו לא תזבח לה' אלהיך שור ושה אשר יהיה בו מום וגו'. והתבאר בספרי שבבעל מום עובר הכתוב מדבר וזה גם כן ילקה עליו כשעבר והקריבו. (שופטים ושוטרים, הלכות איסורי מזבח פ"א):
