אשהזהירנו מעבודת אילן בשני שביעית. והוא אמרו יתעלה וכרמך לא תזמור, ומי שעבר על לאו זה חייב מלקות. לשון ספרי הזרע והזמיר בכלל היו ולמה יצאו להקיש אליהם מה זרע וזמיר מיוחדים שהן עבודה בארץ ובאילן. וכבר התבארו משפטי מצוה זו במסכת שביעית. (שם, שם):
