אשהזהירנו מעלות לרגל מבלי קרבן שיהיה עמנו ונקריבנו שם. והוא אמרו יתעלה ולא יראו פני ריקם ועל כל פנים יהיו עולה ושלמים. וכבר התבארו משפטי מצוה זו במסכת חגיגה. ומצוה זו אין נשים חייבות בה. (כי תשא, הלכות חגיגה פ"א):
