אשהזהירנו מענות היתום והאלמנה שנאמר כל אלמנה ויתום לא תענון, והאזהרה הזאת כוללת שלא יענה אותם לא במאמר ולא במעשה. אבל ידבר עמם דברים טובים ורכים ויתעסק עמם בעסק ויתנו להם לחיות בטוב שמחים. ויכוין ההפלגה בזה כלו, ומי שיקצר בדבר מזה הנה עבר על זה. וכבר התבאר העונש על לאו זה, והוא אמרו יתעלה והרגתי אתכם.
