אהזהיר מעבוד הארץ בשנת היובל, והוא אמרו לא תזרעו כמו שאמר בשמיטה שדך לא תזרע. וכמו שהשמיטה אסור בה בין עבודת הארץ בין עבודת האילן כך היובל ולפיכך אמר לא תזרעו על הכלל כולל ארץ ואילן. ומי שעבר על לאו זה לוקה. (שם, שם פ"י):
