אשהזהירנו מעלות על המזבח במעלות כדי שלא יפסיע פסיעה גסה אבל ילך עקב בצד גודל. והוא אמרו יתעלה ולא תעלה במעלות. ולשון מכילתא מה תלמוד לומר אשר לא תגלה ערותך עליו כשיעלה למזבח לא יהיה פוסע פסיעה גסה אלא מהלך עקב בצד גודל. וכבר התבארו צורת הכבש ואיכות בנינו בשלישי ממדות, וכל מי שמפסיע פסיעה גסה על המזבח עד שתגלה ערותו לוקה.
