אהזהירנו מהותיר דבר מבשר התודה עד הבקר. והוא אמרו בקרבן תודה ולא תותירו ממנו עד בקר. ומזה למדנו שאר קדשים כי כל מה שישאר מהם אחר זמן אכילתם שהוא נותר חייב לשרפו [ואין לוקין עליו] לפי שהוא ניתק לעשה ושריפתו מצות עשה כמו שבארנו בצ"א ממצות עשה. (אמור, פסולי המוקדשין פי"ח):
