אשהזהיר הכהנים מאכול בשר חטאות הנעשות בפנים. והוא אמרו יתעלה וכל חטאת אשר יובא מדמה אל הקדש וגו'. ומי שאכל מהם לוקה. ולשון ספרי לא תאכל באש תשרף כל שהוא טעון שריפה הרי הוא בלא תעשה על אכילתו. (שם, שם פי"א):
