לרכך הבשר, ואין צריך לחזור ולטרוח לשרותו, אפילו לא נמלח עדיין. אבל בהדחה מועטת לא סגי ליה אם לא נמלח עדיין, וצריך לחזור ולהדיחו היטב. אבל אם כבר נמלח אפילו אחר הדחה מועטת מותר, כמ"ש רמ"א בס"ב (ש"ך1):
