להגיד בבוקר חסדיך ואמונתך בלילות. פי' כשאדם בבהירות, ר"ל בדביקות, חסדיך. ואמונתך בלילות, פי' כשאדם לפעמים נופל ממדריגה והוא בחשיכה בענין הדביקות, אז על כל פנים יהיה לאדם זה האמונה הידוע. וזכור כי בוקר ויום הנזכר בפסוק הוא לשון בהירות, וערב ולילה הנזכר בפסוק הוא לשון (עבירה) [עכירות]1.
