עיני ה' אל צדיקים. וכתיב עי"ן ה' אל יראיו. כי העינים נקראים אהבה ויראה, כי חוש הראות מסתכל ע"י העינים. כך הוא יתברך משגיח ע"י מעשה הצדיקים על העולמות. ועיקר המעשה הוא ע"י אהבה ויראה, כי אורייתא בלא דחילו ורחימו לא יכול לסלקא לעילא. הצדיק נקרא מי שיש לו אהבה ויראה, לכך כתיב ב' עינים. אבל הירא לחוד כתיב ביה עי"ן.
