במה דברים אמורים כשאין לו ממין זה בתוך ביתו והוא צריך לו לכבוד האורחים. והוא הדין אם צריך לו לצורך שאר סעודות מצוהתשסז. אבל אם יש לו ממין זהתשסח בתוך ביתו שמספיק לו לכל בני הסעודה, אין ליתן לפניהם ממין זה כדי שיאכיל לאנשי ביתו ממה שיש לו בתוך ביתו (שוע"ר שם).
