משום קורע אין איסור אלא כשקורע ומפריד גופים רבים שנתחברו, כגון קורע בגד הארוג מחוטים הרבה.

כתב במ"מ וציונים וז"ל: אלא כשקורע ומפריד וכו' – לכאורה כ"מ מהראב"ד בהשגות סופ"ט ע"ש, ואפי' למ"ש המ"מ שם בדעת הרמב"ם משמע שאין חולק בעיקר זה, עכ"ל. ועיין בפ"ד מהל' יו"ט ה"ח.
