אהיא שצונו לנגוש העכו"ם ולהכריחו לפרוע חובו כמו שנצטוינו לחמול על ישראל והזהירתנו מלנגוש אותו, והוא אמרו יתברך את הנכרי תגוש. ולשון ספרי את הנכרי תגוש זו מצות עשה. (ראה אנכי, הל' מלוה ולוה פ"א):
