אהיא שצוה הכהנים לברך את ישראל והוא אמרו יתעלה כה תברכו את בני ישראל. וכבר התבארו דיני מצוה זו בפרק אחרון ממגילה ותענית ובשביעי ממסכת סוטה. (נשא את ראש, אהבה הלכות תפלה וברכת כהנים פי"ד):
