אהיא שנצטוו הכהנים להסיר הדשן בכל יום מעל גבי המזבח, והיא הנקראת תרומת הדשן, והוא אמרו יתברך שמו ולבש הכהן מדו בד והרים את הדשן. וכבר התבארו דיני מצוה זו בתמיד ובכפורים. (צו, תמידין ומוספין פרק ב'):
