והיה בית עשו לקש. הנה אמרו רז"ל כל מקום שנאמר והי"ה הוא לשון שמחה, ולכאורה זו שיהיה בית עשו לקש, והלוא אין (בה) [בו] ניצוצות כלל כמו בדבר מאכל. אך (לזה) [זה] הקש ראוי כשתשרפנו ונעשה אפר ותשפוך האפר בשדה אז יגדיל צמחים, שיהיו ניצוצות קדושה בוודאי מהם. נמצא כי מקש נעשה גם כן ניצוצות קדושה כשהאדם אוכל מהם.
