אאמו"ר כפל הלשון בסיום הפרק — כי שם אין כוונת אדה"ז להדגיש את הקשר בין שכל ומדות, אלא אדרבה, שההת­בוננות עצמה נמשכה מהתורה, כנ"ל ב­ארוכה. ובמילא מובן, שאין הכוונה בל' "התבוננות" כאן לדרגת השכל השייך למדות, אלא ההתבוננות דשכל עצמו, "להבין ולהשכיל באמתתו וגדולתו ית'".
