ומיהו לכתחלה אין למלוח או לצלות הלב עם בשר בלא קריעה, ואפילו אינו דבוק, כיון דעכ"פ קליפה מיהא בעי (ש"ך1). ולהמנחת יעקב דוקא כשהוא דבוק וכדלעיל2. ומיהו כתב המנחת יעקב3 דיש להחמיר לכתחלה לקרעו קודם מליחה אפילו מולחו לבדו:
