...וקריאת שם הרי זה ענין של גילוי המשכה מן השרש המקור וההעלם, לענינים שבפועל וכמבואר בדא"ח בכ"מ ענין קריאת שם שענינה לחבר הנשמה עם הגוף וכו', ועפ"ז יש להסביר ג"כ המחלוקת שישנה אם אדם קרא שמות גם לדגים שהרי דוגמתם הם נבראים דעלמא דאתכסיא, היפך ענין הגילוי אלא שעלמא דאתכסיא זה - לגבי עולם שלמעלה הימנו גם לזה גילוי יקרא שזה יסוד לדיעה שגם הדגים נקראו בשם. יעויין תוס' חולין סו, ב. חזקוני ורד"ק לבראשית ב, יט. מדרש חסר ויתיר ועוד...
