אין קוראים בתורה בלילה. נ"כ בשחרית. אין נוהגים לפרוש טלית על ראשי העולים לחתן תורה או לחתן בראשית. גם העולם לתורה אמור חזק חו"נ.

בשמחת תורה תק"מ אמר רבינו הזקן: עץ חיים היא למחזיקים בה - אלו בעלי השגה הלומדים תורה. ותומכי' מאושר - אלו בעלי עבודה העוסקים בתורה. מאושר - גליקלאך, כדאיתא בזהר (ח"ג נג. ב) אל תקרי מאושר אלא מראשו, דע"י עבודתם ממשיכים מראשו היינו מפנימיות הא"ס ב"ה, וכמעלת הרגל המקיים את הראש דוקא.
