- You know, that during סוכות, one of the reasons that we live-אין-אין סוכה during סוכות איז, we go out of our house, and we feel ourselves, as if we are guests somewhere else. We can't live in our own houses, we have to go out into a סוכה, so as if somehow we are a guest by somebody else. This is part of the holiday-day of סוכות. And on סוכות, we also invite special guests into our homes. Those guests are called אושפיזין. זי זאל די ספעשיל געסטס, און די פארסט-דעי אויף סוכות, די ספעשיל געסט איז דאך קועת משה רבינו. סאו, דאס איז די קאנעקשן פון שמחת-תורה, בפרט שמחת-תורה איז די ווייטש ווי מען א ספעשיל ספעשעלי און מען א ספעשעל שמחה ותורה. ווי ווי אינווייט ווי די זאפפיזין אינטו איר הויבס? בקוז, because this remindsנדת, that during סוכות, we are all visitors, we are all sort of guests by someone else. So when we invite these guests into us, it helps us to remember this idea. And of course, who are the ושפיז, and who are the guests? אברהם יצחק, and יעקב, and משה, and אהרן, and יוסף, and דוד.
