  • בנוגע לח"י אלול ישנם ב' לשונות בשיחת אדמו"ר מהוריי"צ: (א) "גוט יום טוב" - שענינו שייך לעבודת בני ישראל, דאינו דקדשינהו לזמני, (ב) "מזל טוב" - שהוא למעלה מעבודת בני ישראל; ענין ה"מזל", וגם את זה צריך להמשיך בפנימיות. (ס"א)
  • ביאור במה שאמר הצמח צדק שח"י אלול הוא חג משולש: א) הולדת הבעש"ט, ב) הולדת אדמו"ר הזקן, ג) התחלת העבודה הבאה; החילוק בין ב' הענינים המורלים לייחסם לח"י אלול - לענין השלישי. (ס"ב)
