  • ענין מחצית השקל שכולם יתנו (סכום שוה) לקנות קרבנות ציבור דוקא (ואפי' לא קרבנות ציבור הדומים ליחיד לכפר על חטא העגל שהוא חטא כללי - חטא העגל הי' החטא שהחזיר הזוהמא לעולם. (ס"א)
  • בפרשתנו כתיב (כב, כד) "אם כסף תלוה וגו'", שבנתינת צדקה ובפרט גמ"ח נעשה הקב"ה בע"ח, ומשלם בלי גבול; נתינת הלואות לקרן גמ"ח שומרי שבת; בפרשת תרומה יש ג' תרומות: תרומת האדנים מרומז בפסוק "ויקחו לי", וביאור הענין בעבודה: שבכדי צו נעמען "לי" עצמות, הוא ע"י העבודה דאדנים - ביטול ושפלות, שהו"ע היסוד בדוגמת האדנים, וזה הי' רק בשנה ראשונה כי ביטול הוא יסוד ושרש כל העבודה.
